Nyama Choma, which means ‘ roasted meat’ in Swahili, is the classic Kenyan barbecue. The meat, usually goat or beef, is marinated and grilled to perfection over an open flame. What I love about Nyama Choma is its simplicity and the smoky, charred flavor that the grilling process imparts.

The convivial atmosphere, filled with laughter and conversation, paired with the succulent, well-seasoned meat, made the experience unforgettable.
